HÏSOM Hiso

HÏSOM Hiso is a guesthouse located in the Hiso district of Yunotsu-cho, Ota City, Shimane Prefecture. This is an inn for medium to long-term stays that has been renovated to make it more comfortable for guests from overseas, while preserving the Japanese traditional exterior and interior of an old folk house. HÏSOM is also inspired by the Nordic Finnish way of living in summer cottages by water. Although Shimane Prefecture and Finland are far apart, they have many things in common, such as rich nature and scenery, and a way of life respecting ​​the nature. 　Enjoying a slow, quiet, and traditional lifestyle.
